Who we are Thomas Yeung Ltd was formed in April 2002. Our founder, Thomas Yeung, worked in the UK Electricity Supply Industry for nine years, and for a number of large management consultancy groups for six further years, before eventually seeing the light and becoming an independent consultant. We are a small consultancy group, offering advice and assistance to utility companies (electricity, gas and water), national and international regulators, government agencies, and large energy users in the UK and overseas. Recent Interim Management and consultancy assignments include: a two-year fixed term contract as interim Managing Director of a small Caribbean utility; nine months as an interim Business Development Director of a water technology start-up; six months developing an integrated utilities strategy for Masdar in UAE; a four month project for National Grid helping deliver their Global Procurement Transformation Programme; a three-month strategy project for RWE npower; and eleven months in Central Govt (DFES) as coordinator of the joint HFCE/DFES Higher Education programme. Currently, Thomas is working with the four Gas Distribution businesses in the UK on the development of a new Distribution Network Control System.
